6:07 pm – Quorum of 11 BOD members - meeting called to order by Bob Regan.


Dave Foresyth & Rich Pereira joins at 6:08 pm


Sean Broussard joins at 6:18 pm


Tony Almeida joins at 7:00 pm


Joe Maiella leaves at 8:19 pm


All who were present were in attendance by 7:00 pm


BOD Meeting Minutes: 


Motioned by Doherty, 2nd by Foresyth to accept June 2015 General & Exec Session BOD Meeting Minutes.  Motion Passes 13-0-0.


Motioned by Card, 2nd by Foresyth to accept the June 2015 Financials.  Motion Passes 10-0-4

Exec Session Motion:
7:51 p.m.  Motion by Regan, 2nd by Elliott to enter into Executive Session.  Motion passes 15-0-0.






  • Welcome message

  • Snack shack has a water leak that Tony and Rich are dealing with.





  • Constant Contact email going out by 8/14.The highlight will be intown registration, opening day, field day, intown refs and travel refs.

  • CORI requests have started for the Fall for intown.Travel CORI checks to start on 8/7

  • On vacation August 21 to August 28th.Sean will cover CORI checks while away



  • Revenue is down compared to 2014Ask Tom for specifics


    VP of Administration

  • Coaches concussion renewals start next week

  • Picture fundraising opportunity will be discussed with the fundraising chair.

  • Breakers tickets will be discussed in the Fall and if we will continue the relationship with The Breakers



    VP Development

  • Revs tickets are not selling but we will continue the relationship with them due to the other perks we receive from the Revs.

  • Mass Pass clinics start the week of 8/4

  • Contracts pending on Mass Youth coaching support

  • Coach mentor was a success in the Spring and we will continue in the Fall



  • Family discounts for multiple kids process was started for Fall



  • BU10-3, GU10-5 and GU14-6 are missing head coaches for the Fall season.

  • Fall coaches meeting is waiting on confirmation from the town.Last week of August/first week of September tentatively planned.

  • Season preps are happening: CORI checks, coaches loaded into Sports Manger and Sports Pilot.



  • The price of the 3v3 tourney will remain at $90 for teams and coaches.

  • 80’s night we had a $2500 profit


    Travel Refs

  • Looking for new refs.Course offered in August for certification.Information to be posted to member in the August Constant Contact newletter.


    Intown & Intown Refs

  • Intown registration at 467 with 5 weeks until the season starts.We should end up with around 500 registrants by opening day.

  • Wednesday September 2nd is tentative day for Intown coaches meeting

  • Intown ref meeting is set for either Saturday, August 29th or Friday, September 4th.


    Fields & Buildings

  • Permits are in process for all soccer fields



  • No updates as the merchandise coordinator was not present but travel socks were ordered and travel uniforms are in.



  • Serf Save training scheduled for the Fall

  • We need two hires for the Fall snack shack coverage


    Technical Director

  • Contacting indoor places for Winter Clinics

  • Working on setting up pre-season clinics for the Fall

  • Discussed date of birth changes for travel in 2017

  • PDP sessions are being scheduled for the Fall




  • Instagram proposal- Eric R will provide details on security set up in Instagram to ensure it’s a one way communication tool for WYSA in the late August BOD meeting.

  • 2016 Board Planning- for board members that are planning on returning or not, please notify Bob immediately with your plan
