Meeting called to order 6:01 by President Ed Riekstins
Secretary: Fortier
· Motion by Goulet 2nd by Fitzler to accept Feb. 2010 minutes.
Vote passed – 8-0-1
· Email vote – Motion by Fruciano 2nd by Fortier to send flowers in remembrance of Tom Guzinski to his funeral, not to exceed $100. Vote passed 12-0-0
· Calendar sent for updating and website content update
Treasurer: Otis
· Current intown registration is 504 (last year 541)
· Otis gave summary of the month’s transactions
· Motion by Ward 2nd by Goulet to accept treasurer report for February. Vote passed – 9-0-3
President: Riekstins
· Discussed next goal setting meeting. Suggestion by Fitzler to discuss one goal per board meeting
· Motion by Goulet 2nd by Watson to approve captive Images as the vendor for Spring 2010 awards. Vote passed – 11-1-0
· Riekstins suggested help for the WYSA newsletter from high school students
· Coaches info on website has been removed
· CPR classes for coaches (follow up with Bob Beck)
· Next board meeting for Sunday March 28th
Travel: Snider
· Travel guys are getting the Spring season ready – organize travel placements, devise ways to acquire more information regarding intown players/coaches moving into the travel program, will be using the same parent evaluation forms for the Spring 2010 season
· Motion by D’Ambrosio 2nd by Goulet to accept the parent evaluation forms for Spring 2010. Voted passed – 12-0-0
· Chris Alberti arrives
· Gym time for practices to start March 15th, fee to be determined by participation
· Travel subcommittee discussion – they will organize, setup and run travel placements, coach selection, assess intown coaches applying for travel coaches
o Motion to approve committee will be postponed to reevaluate committee makeup
Fields and Buildings: D’Ambrosio
· Riekstins and D’Ambrosio met with town concerning field improvement
· Described turf management as field aeration and fertilization, field mowed 2-3 times a week, snow fence will be installed, drains will be dug out and sprinklers marked
· Whitefield will be alternative site – still verifying
· Action item – get map for Whitefield for website
· Permits have all been verbally approved, awaiting actual forms
· E coaching course time and sites will need to be rescheduled
· Need to get player aisles signs and lock box
· Action item – Riekstins will look into field house insurance
Merchandise: Maseillo
· Will order board apparel
· Coaches shirts will be slightly different than last year
· Ref shirts and whistles have been ordered
· Need to order large sandbags
· Kinder ball are on the way
TOPS: Goulet
· 78 players and black and white shirts are on order for the players
· TOPS symposium is on March 20th
Referees: Goulet and Alberti
· Travel ref meeting is set for March 27th and zero tolerance policy will be reiterated at coaches meetings
· Intown ref orientation email will be sent out to membership, orientation on March 27th

Concession: Souza and Ward
· Will try to recruit more volunteers and look into cash register
Training and Revs: Haddad
· E coaches class needs to be rescheduled as Mass Youth requires appropriate size gym
· Discussion of world cup for 1st and 2nd graders on Fridays nights
· Two camps this summer for August 2nd and August 16th
· Team camp will be on August 23rd
· PCD committee will push an additional focus to develop intown and recreational side of WYSA
· Revs – Slyde for opening day, possible web link for ticket sales, still may perform raffles for tickets, will need one group night for opening night on April 10th, will mention at coaches meeting
Intown: Goulet and Watson
· Get packets for coaches meetings
· Low registration for Co-ed teams – discussion of format dependent on final player enrollment
· Boys ¾ grade low registration, will receive Saturday training, possible rebalance of players after practices, thought of interleague games
· Girls ¾ grades 26 players – 4 teams of 6, high school students to help coach
· Still looking for 2 2nd grade boys coaches
· Opening day activities – high school players help as field ambassadors, Slyde from the revs, challenger coaches present, music
Fundraising/Scholarship: Bell
· Action item – scholarship announcement in Town Crier
· Motion by Bell 2nd by Haddad to approve $400 deposit for 2nd annual summer golf tournament on Aug. 30th at Campbell’s Scottish Highlands. Vote passed 14-0-0
Motion by Snider 2nd by Goulet to enter executive session (9:00). Voted passed 14-0-0
Motion by Haddad 2nd by Bell to exit executive session (9:20). Vote passed 13-1-0

Discussion an presentation of League Athletics as front end website, with the possibility to use as registration site.
