Training: Haddad
PCD committee met with prospective partners (Challenger MPS and NASC). The recommendation was to go with Challenger for the 2010 year:

·      NASC has run into financial hardship at the end of last year and could not pay their coaches. Going back with NASC may risk receiving low quality coaches…. Challenger has a strong financial position and resources such as market for Summer camps
·      Several technical and Wilmington account personnel have moved from NASC to Challenger. We already have an established, trusted relationship with Terry Gordon who understands our program and its strengths and weaknesses.
·      Challenger offers a better coach engagement model such as pre and post season coaches clinics, online video curriculum and focused account attention
·      Challenger has a flat fee structure as well as an hourly fee structure

Motion by Haddad 2nd by Fitzler to use Challenger for player and coach development partner for 2010. Voted 13-0-0 – passed
